How to generate a compliant product image: from sign-up to download
A step-by-step guide to going from a new account to a downloaded, marketplace-ready product image with Tutujin. No API key, no design software, no prompt engineering — just register, pick a scene, and generate.

Step 1: Sign up and claim free credits
Create an account with your email — no credit card and no API key required. New accounts receive free credits on sign-up, enough to test several scene presets before topping up. Your credit balance shows in the header so you always know what a render will cost.
Step 2: Choose an e-commerce scene preset
From the home screen, pick one of the 12 scene presets that matches your channel: pure-white main image for Amazon or Temu, lifestyle for TikTok Shop, model try-on for apparel, and so on. Each preset is a tuned prompt template, so you don't write any prompt yourself.
Step 3: Upload your product photo
Add your product image as the reference or source — a supplier photo, a phone snapshot, or an existing listing image all work. For best results use a clear shot where the product is fully visible. You can optionally add a second reference, such as a model image for try-on scenes.
Step 4: Pick quality and generate
Choose the output tier and quality: Value for batch 1K main images; gpt-image-2.5 Value (¥0.5 per image, one price for every size) when you want 2K at a controlled cost; Standard when you need steadier high-resolution output. Then press Generate. Credits are spent when the task completes successfully, and failed renders are not charged.
Step 5: Review, download, and publish
Check the result against your channel's image rules — pure white R=G=B=255 for Amazon and Temu main images, correct sizing for the platform. Download the high-resolution file and upload it straight to your marketplace, store or PIM. Your renders are saved to history so you can re-download them later.
AI generation vs the traditional way (quick comparison)
| Dimension | Tutujin AI generation | Traditional (outsourced/DIY) |
|---|---|---|
| Per-image cost | Value ¥0.16–0.3/image | Outsourced photo set often ¥80–500/SKU |
| Turnaround | Minute-level (download right after) | Days to weeks (incl. scheduling/post) |
| Skill bar | No Photoshop / no prompt engineering | Needs designer / photographer / post |
| Batch ability | Up to 10 at once + API | Re-book / re-quote per set |
| Startup cost | Sign-up-and-go, free credits, no monthly fee | Studio / model / gear fixed cost |
For standardized main / white-bg / scene images, AI generation has an order-of-magnitude edge on cost (¥0.16–0.3/image vs ¥80–500/SKU for photography), time (minutes vs days), and skill (zero design skill); high-end hero shots still favor traditional photography.
Quick answers about the workflow
Do I need an API key for any of these steps?
No. Every step from sign-up to download works with no API key and no upstream provider configuration — Tutujin runs the models for you and bills in credits.
How long does the whole process take?
Timing depends on scene complexity, resolution, queue, and image count. For your first image, most effort is sign-up and upload; once inside the studio, choose a scene, upload, submit, and wait for completion.
How much does one image cost?
Value starts at ¥0.3 per 1K main image. gpt-image-2.5 Value is ¥0.5 per image, one price for every size, with 2K output. Standard supports 2K/4K HD and spends more credits based on the selected quality. New accounts start with free credits; after that, top up per image or go monthly for refilled credits and a bigger bonus.
Can I repeat this for a whole catalogue?
Yes. Reuse the same scene preset across every SKU for a consistent set, then manage results through the in-app pack, history, and download flows. Tutujin does not currently offer a public API or SDK for automated integration.
